Footage captured today revealed the dramatic crash of a Russian Air Force Su-27 “Flanker” fighter jet near the city of Sevastopol, located in Crimea, a region currently under Russian occupation.

The incident resulted in the safe ejection of the pilot, who survived the crash with minor injuries.
Information circulating on social media suggests that the aircraft may have been accidentally shot down by Russian air defenses, marking another case of friendly fire within the country’s armed forces.
